Why Pay For a Bridge Line?
Q: Why do I need to pay for a bridge line when we have free phone line for teleseminars?
With free bridge lines, they are okay if you have a small number of people using the bridge, but once you get over 25 or 50 especially and 100 definitely, you may experience audio difficulties. And when you are doing a teleseminar where people had paid for it, you want to do everything at all cost to avoid audio problems, so that is why you may people discussing the different bridge line options. There is Voice Text, there is Black and White; those are two bigger providers. They are great because you can get dedicated bridge line but it is quite expensive. It can be in the neighborhood of $300 to $500 a month.
The one that I recommend is Eagle Conferencing and it is $75 a month. The only difference is you have to call ahead of time and reserve your bridge. So it is a little inconvenient as far as that goes but it is much, much cheaper. Eagle Conferencing is the bridge line that I recommend when you are doing paid calls and you want to ensure that there is no problems with audio quality and things like that, I recommend that you use that kind of a bridge.
