How Do I Put Together a Webpage?
Q: I am learning Dreamweaver and I am putting together my pages but if you have advice on who I could call to pay for help with that, that would be great. I am very new to marketing online thing and not sure as to how thing should be structured and how they work their best. I am also currently using 1ShoppingCartOnline.com.
Segmenting Lists Within 1ShoppingCartOnline
Q: My question is when people opt in for our teleseminars we get their first name and email address. Then they all go into our 1ShoppingCartOnline database. We have two pretty distinct target markets but sometimes even in the same opt-in, we get people from both markets opting in. How can we know which market they belong in so we can segment it?
How Should You Receive Payments?
Q: The question I have is in terms of merchant accounts. Should I try and set up my shopping cart to accept credit card versus PayPal? What do you recommend? I looked under the 1ShoppingCartOnline and they said that they takes all sorts of merchant accounts and it is like $99 setup a year or something to go through them. That seems really expensive to me. When I looked at PayPal, they have offered different ways to get setup. Do you have a recommendation on where there is an inexpensive vendor to get merchant account?
Q: If people sign up into an autoresponder series in 1ShoppingCartOnline that is being used for an event or teleseminar, how do you segment them from the next event or do you?
Also, when people sign up for another event, how do you know that they get the same autoresponder messages as the previous event they signed up for?
Capturing Information off of TV Viewers
Q: How to you capture people’s information that are watching TV? I already have a website. I already have a shopping cart, which I have been using for years. I already used Constant Contact for an opt-in page where my ezines so it is fixed with Constant Contact. These are going to be television viewers. Some of them may not have an email address or may not have access to online, so when I announce it, they can either call us or go online to opt in or call and get information.
Also, once you have information, what software program do you use to send out either the telephone calls as a reminder and provide the information of the dial-in number and the pass codes or send out to email?
Q: I currently have multiple campaigns all directing to one particular product and I’m looking to figure out which one is working best. I purchased some domains redirected them to the website. Is there any way I can track which campaign is working best? I am currently using 1ShoppingCartOnline if that helps.

Migrating From Constant Contact to 1ShoppingCartOnline
Q: A lot of my list is currently in Constant Contact right now but I am thinking about going over to 1ShoppingCartOnline, what is the advantage and disadvantage of being in one or the other?
