How Do You Get Over a Fear of Autoresponders?
Q: I just recently signed up for an autoresponder service and the thought of seeing all of those emails go to all those people at one time even though they know me feels very eerie.
Can you give me a suggestion to kind of how to maybe get over that or just a different perspective on how to view an autoresponder and write messages?
Adding People From an Address Book to a List
Q: I have a question about list building. I was wondering about using my Yahoo Address Book as a list. If I did that, would I have to input those into a broadcast message?
I think I have about 250 names on my Yahoo Address Book or something but I guess some of them are just people I probably have not mailed or talked to in three years.
How Do You Introduce a Tip of The Week?
Q: I want to start giving a “tip of the week” to my list. How do you introduce the idea? Once it already started people know you but when you first put it out, what did you put in the subject line but also in your opening sentence? What do you put that says why you are giving them a tip of the week? Where else will I provide it?
My List is Getting Autoresponder Messages Too Late
Q: I have a question about autoresponders and teleseminars. If you are holding a teleseminar what delay and how many messages should I put into my sequence? For people signing up a couple of days before the event, they may not get all the information I want them to. Is there any way around this? I also don’t want them getting messages about the event after the actual event.
Capturing Information off of TV Viewers
Q: How to you capture people’s information that are watching TV? I already have a website. I already have a shopping cart, which I have been using for years. I already used Constant Contact for an opt-in page where my ezines so it is fixed with Constant Contact. These are going to be television viewers. Some of them may not have an email address or may not have access to online, so when I announce it, they can either call us or go online to opt in or call and get information.
Also, once you have information, what software program do you use to send out either the telephone calls as a reminder and provide the information of the dial-in number and the pass codes or send out to email?
Q: What sort of timeline should you be looking to send broadcasts out before a teleseminar? When should I start sending out the email?
Sending Out Broadcast Emails Based on an Ask Campaign
Q: I have got about 600 people on my list and want to do my first Ask Campaign. Should I broadcast that to the whole thing or just a small section or test group?
