Misleading Ask Campaigns

Author: Stu McLaren

Q: I feel a bit like an Ask Campaign is misleading if someone submits a question but then nobody gives an answer. How can I avoid making that impression?

It all depends on how you manage their expectations before they ask in that question. So what you could say is something to the effect of “If you have questions, feel free to submit them to my website and each and every month, we answer the top 25 or 25 most common questions that have come in to our particular database.” So you can say, “We have thousands of questions submitted in each month. We collect all of the questions and we boiled them down to the top 25 questions and answer that in our one time call every single month.” So it just depends on how you position and how you manage their expectations prior to them going to that particular page.
