Q: What is the easiest way to add audio to my WordPress blog?

The easiest way to do that is by utilizing a plug-in and I am going to share with you below. Basically the way this plug-in works is that you simply upload the MP3 file to some location on your server.

So, for example, you can just create a folder called, audio. So I would upload my information to or my audio files to that audio folder. The key is there, just to remember what the full URL is so in this example it would be yoursite.com/audio/nameofthefile.mp3.

Once you install this plug-in, you can put a little piece of merge code and then the URL of that audio file and this will automatically create one of those flash play buttons where somebody can press play and it will start streaming that audio file automatically for you. So, it is very easy.

So to get this plugin, you want to go to 1PixelOut.net and then once you get there, you are going to see on the right hand side there is a section called Code. Then right underneath that, there is a link called Audio Player WordPress plug-in.

Click on that and it will take you to the page where you can download that plug-in and so you simply upload the plug-in. Then like I said, at that point, you can insert just a little bit of code and they have got some examples on that particular page to show you how to do that.

They said you can do a short form way but I do not like doing that. My personal preference is to put the full URL or the full path to that particular MP3 file.

Then that will display that particular flash play button right on your site where people just click play and boom, it starts streaming the audio from your blog.

Q: How do you set up your pricing structure for your products when testing to find a fit for the market?

My personal preference is always to start at a lower price and increase afterwards.

It is always better to go that way than the other way because if somebody pays more and then down the road, you drop the price, they are going to be, “Well, wait a minute; what happened to the other month when I paid this much?” If you go the other way, however, people are happy now because they got a deal in the beginning.

So, when you are pricing, always start lower and then go higher. That is definitely the strategy you want to take.

The free option is good but you can only accept a limited number of responses and you can only create a limited number of campaigns. The paid version is better because you can do more with it but on an overall basis, it is a great little piece of software to certainly gather feedback and gather responses to different questions and so forth.

I recommend you start with the free solution and then if you do need to get more information, you can.

Q: Can you run multiple websites from the same merchant account?

The answer to that is yes but here is what you need to remember. When you set up your merchant account, they are going to ask you to list what name will show up on the credit card statement,

What you want to do is make sure that it is in some way tied to or that they can easily identify what they bought.

I am going to use an extreme example to illustrate my point. Say you are selling dog training products and then you are selling health related products.

Well, if I buy a health related products and I see on my credit card statement, it says Dog Training 101, I am going to be like, “Wait a minute! I bought a health related product, not a dog training product. What is this, a charge back?”

Then what happens is if people cannot easily identify who they bought a product from, you will get a lot of charge backs. So, if you do want to use a merchant account for multiple websites, the key is to have a generic name or company name if you will that will prevent people from questioning what that order is on their credit cards. So, some people, here is what they do especially if they have got products in totally different niches. They will create a domain like productsonline.com for example.

You need something that can cover all of the products/services you are selling.

Yes, definitely because you got to remember, you want to develop a relationship with these people. It is the relationship over time that is going to help you have much better conversion.

The more you communicate with others, the better the relationship will be and so if you do not have a vehicle to be able to communicate with them, then obviously you are missing out on a lot of chance to build that relationship before you even to look sell anything.
