Here is a really cool tool that allows you to instantly get screenshots of any page on the web.  You just simply type in the url and it gives you an image like the example to the right with google.

You can then customize where in the picture you want the shot as well as the size of the screenshot.

If you’ve ever had mulitple people working on the same file then you will know the frustrations of keeping it organized and everyone having the most up to date copy.  We have been using the following solution for sometime now and it has made our lives a lot easier because as soon as somebody makes a change it replace that file instantaneously on everyone else’s computer.

The service is DropBox and once you install it you simply copy any files that you want to be shared files into the drop box folder.  You can even run applications from within it.

Now whenever anybody updates a document, file or whatever, it is updated on everyone’s computer.  All you need is to be connected to the internet to make it work!

The most surprising feature about this software is that it is absolutely free.  I highly suggest you look into this software if you are sharing files with team members.  It will make your life a whole lot easier.

Q:  What’s the relationship between PayPal and a shopping cart?

PayPal is a way for people to pay for your products and services.  The challenge with PayPal is that you when they pay for your products you are not able to capture their customer information.

If want to follow up with them then its very difficult because it doesn’t provide an easy way for you to capture that information and then be able to e-mail them afterwards. Q:  Do you recommend a particular source or way of finding plug-ins for WordPress?

There is actually a search engine for plug-ins if you go to http://www.tinyurl.com/wpplugin. I found this to be very helpful as far as finding the types of plug-ins that I am looking for.  You type in keywords related to what you need and it will go and search all of the WordPress directories and the plug-in directories and it will find what you’re looking for.

What I did before I found this search engine is I would do searches on WordPress.org I would click on the extend tab and then look in their plug-ins directory and I would search for keywords related to the type of plug-in that I am looking for.

I would also go to Google and I would type in a keyword that describes what I am looking for plus WordPress plug-ins.

Outside of that, typically what I would do is if I have a need for a particular plug-in and I can’t find anything that is out there for free or even paid I go to places like RentaCoder and get them created.

Oftentimes it is just faster and easier to get something created for what I want versus trying to find something free. Typically what you can expect to pay for for most simple plug-ins is between $50 and a $100.  If it is a very advanced plug-in it is going to cost you more.

There are so many PHP programmers which is what WordPress is built on that it becomes very advantageous to go to a place like RentaCoder to get them created.
